Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
4 1/2 c. plain flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. cloves
1 1/2 tsp. mace
3 c. applesauce
1 1/2 tsp. soda
3 qt. pecans, chopped
1 lb. red cherries
1 lb. green cherries
1 lb. candied pineapple
1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Cream together\tbutter\tand
sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Sift together dry ingredients and add into
batter
along
with
applesauce.
Roll nuts and fruits in 1/2 cup flour and then mix them into the batter.
