Grandma'S Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small box lemon Jell-O
    6 oz. Philadelphia brand cream cheese (other brands do not blend as easily)
    1 small can white cherries or white grapes (canned or fresh)
    1 small can pineapple tidbits
Preparation
    Cream dry Jell-O with softened cream cheese.
    Drain juice from fruit and add sufficient water to make 1 pint.
    Heat juice to boiling point.
    Gradually blend juice into cheese-Jell-O mixture. Stir until smooth.
    When cool, pour over fruit and place in refrigerator to set.
    Serve on lettuce leaf.
