Parmesan Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. diced potatoes
    1 c. carrot slices
    1/2 c. celery slices
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. boiling water
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt and pepper in a pot.
    Add boiling water and simmer until tender.
    Make a white sauce of the butter, flour and milk. Stir into the cooked vegetables. Add Parmesan cheese and simmer a little longer.
