Quick And Easy Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh peaches
    1/2 c. margarine (1 stick)
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Combine peaches and 3/4 cup of sugar.
    Stir and let stand for 20 minutes.
    Melt margarine in 1 1/2-quart deep baking dish in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Sift together the flour, 1 cup sugar and baking powder.
    Add milk and stir briskly (lumps will remain).
    Pour into the baking dish of melted butter; top with peaches.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until top is browned and it begins to caramelize at edges.
