Bread Pudding(Layered In Double Boiler.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
3 to 5 slices or more buttered bread, cubed
2 c. milk
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 to 1/3 ??? raisins
pinch of salt
cinnamon

Preparation

Sprinkle bread with brown sugar, cinnamon and raisins.
Mix milk, eggs and vanilla; pour over bread.
\"Do not stir.\"
Cook 2 to 3 hours (medium heat) in double boiler.
Keep water boiling.
