Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. self-rising meal
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 can cream-style corn
    1 1/2 c. medium Cheddar cheese
    1 stick melted margarine
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3 eggs
    2 pickled jalapeno peppers (seeded and chopped)
    1/2 c. bacon bits (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix all of the ingredients.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Makes 2 big pans.
    May be halved.
