Candied Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large or 2 small cans sweet potatoes or 4 fresh, cut into chunks
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
cinnamon
syrup
miniature marshmallows (about 1/2 bag)
Preparation

Put potatoes in a glass baking dish (drain most of the juice). Add butter.
Cover lightly with cinnamon.
Pour in syrup until bottom is covered, but not covered completely over potatoes.
Put in oven until it becomes a simmer for about 15 minutes.
Take out of oven and cover the potatoes with miniature marshmallows, about 1/2 bag.
Put back in oven, cook until marshmallows are golden brown.
Serve and enjoy.
