Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can French-style green beans
    1 can yellow wax beans
    1 can red kidney beans
    1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. salad oil
    1 c. onion, sliced
    1 c. bell pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Drain beans and run water through them. Then mix remaining ingredients and pour over beans; chill 24 hours.
