Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4-qt. popped popcorn
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Place popcorn in large shallow roasting pan.
In heavy 1 1/2-quart saucepan, stir sugar, margarine and corn syrup.
Stir constantly while bringing to a boil, without stirring, boil 5 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pour over popcorn.
Stir to coat well.
Bake in 250\u00b0 oven, stirring every 15 minutes for 1 hour.
Remove from oven, spread onto foil.
Break apart as popcorn cools.
