Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 c. margarine
1 Tbsp. water
3 eggs (room temperature)
1 c. pecans
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix sugar, corn syrup, water and margarine in heavy container. Bring to a full boil, but do not allow mixture to continue to boil long.
Beat eggs; gradually add hot syrup mixture, being sure to stir eggs rapidly while adding.
Add pecans, vanilla and salt; mix.
Pour into 9-inch pastry shell.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
(This recipe doubled will make 3 pies.)
