Quick Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small pkg. lemon or vanilla instant pudding
    1 large can pineapple chunks
    1 large can chunky or tropical fruit cocktail
    1 can mandarin oranges
    3 to 4 bananas, sliced
    1 small jar maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Drain juices from fruit, reserving only pineapple juice.
    Mix dry pudding mix with pineapple juice.
    Add fruit.
    Top with drained cherries.
    Chill.
