Stuffed Manicotti With Four Cheeses - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. manicotti (uncooked)
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 lb. sausage
    1 (28 oz.) can diced tomatoes
    1 tsp. dried basil leaves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (15 oz.) container Ricotta cheese
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Provolone cheese
    1 egg
Preparation
    Cook manicotti as package directs; drain.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large skillet, brown and drain sausage. Add onion and garlic; cook and stir until onion is tender.
    Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, sugar, salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
    In medium bowl, combine Ricotta cheese, 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, Provolone cheese, Parmesan cheese and egg.
    Mix well and stuff manicotti.
