Old-Timey Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices buttered bread, toasted
1/2 c. raisins
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. evaporated milk or half and half
1 c. boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Cut bread into cubes and place in a greased 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with raisins.
Mix eggs, 1/4 cup of sugar, salt, milk and water and pour over raisins.
Let stand for 10 minutes. Add vanilla and stir.
Sprinkle with remaining sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
