Cha Gio - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. bean thread (1.8 oz.)
    1 medium onion
    4 small carrots
    1 large egg
    1 lb. ground lean meat (beef, pork or chicken or combinations; 1/2 chicken and 1/2 pork is very choice)
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. m.s.g. (optional)
    1 pkg. (25 count) square spring roll wrappers
Preparation
    Rinse bean thread in water and soften in hot water for 10 minutes.
    Drain and cut thread stack a few times to shorten threads to about 1-inch.
    Dice or process onion and carrots to medium grain size (rice, not salt).
    Combine bean thread, onion, carrots, egg, seasoning and meat in large something or another.
    Mixing with hands works best, but chop sticks work great, too.
