Sicilian Supper - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. egg noodles (fancy)
1 lb. (or more) ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
3/4 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. milk
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese (room temperature)
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
Preparation

Cook, drain and rinse noodles.
Brown meat and onions.
Add tomato paste, salt and pepper and water.
Simmer 5 minutes.
In separate bowl, combine milk, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt and green pepper.
Heat to blend.
Alternate layers in casserole (2 quarts).
Bake 20 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
Add 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese before serving.
Makes 6 servings, 2 quarts.
