Mixed Greens With Cornmeal Dodgers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. smoked ham, cut in bite size pieces
1 bunch turnip greens
1 bunch mustard greens
1 bunch collard greens
1 large onion, halved lengthwise and sliced
2 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. sugar
salt and Tabasco sauce to taste
Preparation

Wash thoroughly the turnip greens, mustard greens and collard greens. Remove fibrous stems and tear leaves in heavy 8-quart pot. Place onion, ham, pepper, sugar, salt and Tabasco sauce in pot. Add enough cold water to cover greens completely. Bring to full boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat so liquid barely simmers. Cover and cook 2 hours.
