Rice Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cake yeast
    1 1/2 lb. rice
    2 oz. crushed ginger
    1/4 lb. raisins
    4 lb. brown sugar
    1/4 pt. rum
    juice of 2 lemons
    1 gal. water
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in a large jar.
    Leave for 14 days. Strain and bottle.
    Cover tightly and store in a cool, dark place.
