Raw Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. raw apples, peeled and chopped
1 c. nuts, chopped

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour. While cake is still hot, poke holes in it with a fork or toothpick and pour icing over hot cake.
