Barbecued Beef Short Ribs - cooking recipe

3 lb. ribs
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. lard
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1/2 c. apple juice
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. catsup
Preparation

Brown ribs in hot lard. Combine flour and mustard; add remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. Cover and simmer 2 1/2 hours or until tender.
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
