Stuffed Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. large mushrooms
    1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/4 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 to 4 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
Preparation
    Remove stems from mushrooms.
    Finely chop enough stems for 1/3 cup.
    Saute mushroom stems, green pepper and onion in 3 tablespoons butter until tender.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Fill caps.
