Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. white cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
2 c. buttermilk
4 Tbsp. Crisco shortening
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients together, then add eggs and buttermilk. Mix together well.
Best to use iron skillet.
Put Crisco in iron skillet; heat in oven until melted.
Add about half of melted Crisco to cornbread mix; mix well.
Pour into iron skillet.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 425\u00b0.
