Winter Day Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium potatoes, pared
2 slices bacon, diced
1/4 c. minced onion
2 Tbsp. oleo
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley or dried
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 c. milk
1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Cook potatoes; drain but save water.
Saute bacon and onion until brown.
Mash potatoes; add bacon and onion, parsley, salt, nutmeg and Worcestershire sauce.
Stir in milk.
Heat over low flame. Sprinkle with cheese.
Add reserved water if soup is too thick.
