Peanut Whirls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. milk
1 pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate chips
Preparation

Cream first five ingredients together.
Add dry ingredients, alternating with milk.
Roll dough 1/4-inch thick on wax paper. Melt chocolate chips.
Cool and spread onto dough.
Roll into log. Chill for 1/2 hour.
Slice with a sharp knife. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
