Yellow Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 c. cooked yellow summer squash
    1 medium onion
    salt and pepper
    4 oz. pkg. grated cheese
    1 c. bread, cubed
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook, drain and mash squash.
    Stir in chopped onion.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Arrange squash, cheese and bread in alternate layers in buttered baking dish.
    Beat egg and milk together.
    Pour over layers in casserole.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
