Yankee Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    medium size rump roast
    salt and pepper
    flour
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1/2 c. red wine
    1/2 c. wine vinegar
    2 to 3 medium onions, cubed
    4 to 5 stalks celery, cut up
    1 lb. carrots
    1 lb. egg noodles
Preparation
    Dust roast with salt, pepper and flour.
    Braise all sides of roast in hot stew pot (1 to 2 tablespoons of oil may be added). Add in all the other ingredients, except carrots and noodles. Simmer for at least 3 hours.
    Add carrots 1 hour before completion.
    Serve over cooked noodles.
    (Slow cookers are great; let it cook all day!)
