Stewed Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes
    3 slices bacon
    1 small onion
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 small bell pepper
Preparation
    Fry bacon in frying pan until brown.
    Remove and leave enough drippings to cover bottom of pan.
    Chop onion and bell pepper and brown in drippings.
    Next, add tomatoes.
    Stir in salt and pepper to taste.
    Add vinegar and sugar; stir.
    Crumble bacon over top. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes on medium.
    Serve over rice.
