Ingredients

1 1/2 sticks Allsweet margarine
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
2 c. rolled oats
Preparation

Blend together margarine and sugar. Cream until light and fluffy. Mix remaining ingredients together and combine with margarine-sugar mixture. Put a little more than half of the mixture in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Press firmly into place.
