Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 lb. orange slices, cut up
1 can coconut
1 lb. dates, cut up
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until well creamed.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Mix well after each addition.
Add unsifted flour alternately with buttermilk to creamed sugar and butter mixture. Use some flour to dredge orange slices, dates, nuts and coconut. Fold in dates, nuts, etc.
If baked in a large pan bake 2 hours and 15 minutes at 300\u00b0.
Smaller loaf pan less baking time.
Line pans with foil, then grease and flour.
