Shrimp Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. fresh small shrimp, peeled and deveined
    pepper
    water
    6 to 8 slices bacon
    1 onion, minced
    salt
Preparation
    Season flour with salt and pepper; flour the shrimp.
    Fry the bacon; remove from the pan.
    Stir-fry the onion; remove from the pan.
    Add the floured shrimp to the bacon grease; cook over medium heat until pinkish.
    Add about 1 cup of water; stir to thicken. Crumble in bacon; add the onion.
    May need more water if too thick.
    Serve over rice or grits.
    Delicious.
    Serves several, depending on appetite.
