Red Hot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box (4 serving size) red Jell-O
    1 c. (1/2 can) applesauce
    1/4 c. red hot candies
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Melt red hots in water over low heat stirring to prevent sticking.
    When red hots are melted, dissolve Jell-O.
    Stir in applesauce.
    Pour in a mold and chill.
    Recipe can
    easily be doubled.
