Easy Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 gal.) jar dill pickles
    5 lb. sugar
Preparation
    Pour juice from pickles.
    Slice pickles.
    Return sliced pickles to jar.
    Cover with the sugar.
    When sugar begins to melt, invert jar.
    Turn jar twice a day for 3 days.
    Pickles may then be put into smaller jars.
