Kansas Fried Steaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. milk or water
    4 cube steaks, scored (about 1 lb.)
    Flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    Fresh ground pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    Milk gravy (below)
Preparation
    In shallow dish beat eggs with milk. Dip steaks in mixture; coat with flour seasoned with salt and pepper. In large skillet, over medium high heat, saute steaks in oil and butter, turning once; cook 5 minutes for medium rare. Remove to serving platter; spoon milk gravy over steaks.
