Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. meal
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. sugar
buttermilk
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 medium onion, chopped finely

Preparation

Mix with buttermilk, leaving mixture thick.
Drop from spoon into hot grease.
Cook until brown.
