Vanilla Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. boiling water
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Combine sugar, salt and flour.
Add water slowly stirring constantly.
Cook over hot water (double boiler), stirring constantly for 8 minutes.
Serve over steamed or baked pudding.
