Potato Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 medium potatoes (raw), grated
    2 egg yolks, well beaten
    1 c. grated onion
    1 tsp. salt
    2 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together except butter and egg whites. Just before cooking, fold in beaten egg whites.
    Melt butter in skillet over medium heat.
    Form the mixture into patties.
    Fry 4 or 5 at a time in melted butter until golden brown.
    Turn once.
