Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 (16 oz.) can peeled tomatoes, undrained and cut in quarters
    hot cooked rice
    1/4 c. water
    3 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. each: dried thyme and rosemary, crushed
    few drops hot pepper sauce
    1 (12 oz.) bag frozen shrimp, shelled and deveined
    salt
Preparation
    In a 10-inch skillet saute onion, green pepper, celery and garlic in butter for 6 to 8 minutes until limp.
    Stir in flour. Stir in rosemary and thyme, tomatoes and juice, water, tomato paste, bay leaf and hot pepper sauce.
    Stirring, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally for 15 minutes.
    Remove bay leaf and discard.
