Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
    2 large onions, diced
    2 to 3 c. asparagus
    5 slices cheese
    1/3 c. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Put sliced potatoes in a lightly greased baking dish. Top with diced onions. Then arrange asparagus on top of this (canned or fresh can be used). Dot with butter; add salt and pepper. Bake 45 to 60 minutes in 325\u00b0 oven until potatoes are tender. Layer cheese on top and let melt before serving.
