Buckwheat Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. buckwheat flour
3/4 c. white flour
1 Tbsp. dark or blackstrap molasses
1 Tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. lukewarm water
Preparation

Make a stiff batter omitting salt. Cover tightly and allow to stand overnight.
