Scalloped Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 tsp. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. pimentos, chopped
    4 eggs, hard-cooked
    1 c. grated sharp cheese
    2 (16 oz.) cans asparagus spears
    1/4 tsp. pepper (to taste)
    1 c. bread crumbs (more if needed)
    1/4 c. milk (approximately)
Preparation
    Melt butter; add flour, salt and pepper.
    Make a smooth paste. Drain juice from asparagus and add enough milk to make 2 cups liquid.
    Add to paste and stir on medium heat until thickened.
    Do not scorch.
    Add chopped pimentos.
