Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk loose sausage
    6 slices or cubes white bread, crusts removed
    softened butter or margarine
    1 1/3 c. shredded Longhorn cheese
    5 eggs
    2 c. half and half
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Cook sausage over medium heat until done, stirring to crumble well.
    Drain on paper towels; set aside.
    Spread each slice of bread with butter; cut into cubes.
    Place bread cubes in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with the sausage and top with the cheese. Combine remaining ingredients; beat well and pour over mixture in pan.
    Chill at least 8 hours.
    Remove from refrigerator and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
    Yields 6 servings.
