Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. strawberry jello
    4 bananas
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 carton sour cream
    1 small container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix strawberry jello according to package directions.
    Add frozen berries and let set until they thaw in jello; add chopped pecans and chopped bananas.
    Divide mixture in half.
    Place first half in refrigerator and let congeal.
    Cover first layer with sour cream.
    Slowly pour remaining mixture on sour cream.
    Congeal. Top with Cool Whip and garnish with fresh strawberries and pecans.
