Anise Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1 Tbsp. red food coloring
    1 tsp. anise flavoring
Preparation
    Boil sugar, water and syrup until candy thermometer reaches 300\u00b0.
    Remove from heat and add 1 tablespoon red coloring.
    Then add 1 teaspoon anise flavoring.
    Pour and dent as it cools.
