Baked Squash Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. summer squash
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. buttered bread crumbs
    pinch of fine herbs
Preparation
    Wash and dice unpeeled squash.
    Cook in small amount of water uncovered until tender.
    Mash well or force through a food mill or sieve.
    Add other ingredients; blend well.
    Turn into a 1 1/2-quart well-buttered ring mold.
