Pork Chops With Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    salt and pepper
    4 extra thick loin pork chops
    3 medium-size sweet potatoes, boiled and sliced
    pinch of nutmeg
    1 can apricots (No. 2 1/2) with juice
Preparation
    Salt and pepper chops.
    Brown on both sides in their own fat in a skillet.
    Transfer to a casserole dish;
    add sliced sweet potatoes and sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Pour apricots and juice over all and bake 50 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Serves four.
