Nut Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. Crisco
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream the Crisco, sugar and eggs. Add flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt and mix well. Stir in vanilla and nuts.
    Spread in greased 8-inch pan. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle with confectioners sugar or with cocoa frosting.
