Corn Stix - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 large egg, beaten
1/2 c. canned evaporated milk
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
dehydrated minced onions (optional)
Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients in medium bowl.
Add egg, milk and oil.
Stir until smooth.
Stir in onions (optional).
Coat pan with Pam.
Heat stick pan in oven at 425\u00b0 until hot.
Remove pan from oven and spoon in batter 2/3 full.
Return pan to oven and bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly brown.
Yields 1 dozen sticks.
