Gumdrop Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. candied cherries
    1 lb. chopped dates
    3 rings candied pineapple
    1 lb. shredded coconut (fresh or Baker's flaked)
    1 lb. pecans
    1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    1/2 lb. small gumdrops (all colors except black)
Preparation
    Mix all fruits together.
    Let stand overnight.
    Add condensed milk.
    Mix thoroughly with hands.
    Line 2 loaf pans with heavy, well-greased brown paper.
    Press mixture down.
    Bake 30 to 45 minutes at 300\u00b0.
    Decorate top with pineapple, cherries and pecans just before taking from oven (optional).
