Buttermilk Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 lb. fryer chicken, cut up
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. all purpose flour
    1-1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. garlic and season salt
    cooking oil for frying
Preparation
    Place chicken in a large flat dish.
    Cover with buttermilk and refrigerate for 1 hour.
    Combine flour and seasonings, drain chicken.
    Toss pieces, one at a time in flour mixture.
    Put in hot oil on medium heat.
    Cook 20 minutes on each side or until juices run clear.
