Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    14 c. popcorn
    1 c. peanuts (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 200\u00b0.
    Bring to a boil the first 5 ingredients and cook 5 minutes; set off stove and stir in baking soda.
    Pour over popcorn that's been spread on a cookie sheet, bake for 1 hour.
    Stir a couple of times while baking.
