Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. flavoring
Preparation

Put sugar, water, unbeaten egg whites and salt in upper part of double boiler.
Beat constantly over hot water for seven minutes or until frosting is almost thick enough to spread.
Add flavoring.
Remove from hot water and continue beating until frosting is of the consistency to spread.
